Our judges had a HUGE job narrowing down to these finalists, after receiving an outstanding selection of quality novels, nonfiction books, devotionals, and books for children and young adults. We congratulate all of you who submitted your books to the contest; you should ALL be very proud of what you've accomplished in the last year.

The winner in each category will be announced at the SCWC Notable Book Awards Ceremony on Jan. 22 in conjunction with the 2022 Virtual Southern Christian Book Expo. Finalists, their families, and local SCWC members are invited to attend the ceremony, which will be held at The Alabama Baptist headquarters in Birmingham. The ceremony will also be broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube.

Congratulations to our 18 finalists, and good luck.

And thank you to everyone who submitted your books to this year's contest. Job well done!
