The Southern Christian Writers Conference (in partnership with TAB Media Group) provides inspiration and instruction for aspiring and published writers of faith. The SCWC has brought writers together since 1991 at its annual workshop and other writing events, and is recognized as one of the best conferences in the nation.

We host seasonal workshops throughout the Southeast, and our annual workshop will take place this year on June 3-4, 2022.

We're so excited to announce that Sean Dietrich will present our Friday night keynote session at the 2022 Southern Christian Writers Conference in Birmingham.

Sean Dietrich is a columnist, novelist, and podcast host, known for his commentary on life in the American South. His work has appeared in Newsweek, Southern Living, Garden and Gun, the Birmingham News, and many other publications. He's authored 13 books, including his most recent Will the Circle Be Unbroken?: A Memoir of Learning to Believe You’re Gonna Be Okay (Zondervan Books). You've probably read his popular essays, which he writes daily for his blog and author Facebook page.
